Pumpkins, check. Scarecrow, check. IMA Goner Gravestones, check. Aren’t you getting a little bored? The same staples every year. Don’t you wanna try something different? Let’s grab Halloween by the gourd and strike it down again and again!
Let’s make Halloween BOO-ling pins from recycled bottles!
Most mornings I find myself up way too early, pouring my favorite almond milk into a bowl of granola. As I slowly come to life, I stare at the bottle. How gorgeous is Califia Farms’ design and packaging? These are just too pretty to throw away, so I’ve been saving them for the right project.
The other day I found myself alone in the house with ten empty Califia Farms bottles and a can of spray paint. Freaky-time had arrived.
Halloween BOO-Ling Pins!
You’ll Need:
- 10 Califia Farms bottles
- White spray paint (I used Rustoleum)
- Black craft paint (I used Martha Stewart)
- A roundish gourd
White craft paint won’t do the trick, so just strip the bottles and spray paint them. They won’t crack and you’ll have the Boo-ling pins for years to come. My kids are still little so I made friendly ghosts, but I’d love to see some more sinister-looking apparitions if you have the skills. Oh wait, I take that back– this image is pretty sinister…
