Oh my GOURD! I got to reconnect with my favorite people at Home & Family to talk FALL today! Like, how over summer I am, and how ready for cozy sweaters and football games I am. And also, decorating for fall. I’m so ready for that too. Specifically, with gourds. Yes, GOURDS!
I got in touch with our ancestors and made gourd containers from dried gourds. Purchased them online from Welburn Gourd Farm, cut ’em open, cleaned ’em out, painted ’em and showed ’em off on the show. Gourd vessels have been made all over the world for centuries, but this is a fun way to make them modern. Watch the DIY Fall Gourds video here and let me know how yours turn out!
